< Back	Luna (Photo by Dana Davis) Dimensions: 24 in. wide, 62 in. tall (Sold) This totem has constant tension between beauty and the grotesque, serenity and fear. It can take on the breaking-out-of-a-box theme, swimming up stream against all odds. I tell a story of canoeing under a canopy of falling cherry blossoms in full mooonlight. While contently dipping one's hand in the water to scoop up the floating flowers, one still harbors the underlying fear of creatures from the deep depths below. I made thick paper pulp pedals for the background of this piece. It has a suspended silver metallic moon, and a stuffed Gar fish from Ecuador within its wooden box.	> Next
